Gas consumption: (figures are from Authentic Oven 750-900) Gas consumption varies, with maximum pressure you will use approx 3Kg’s of LPG gas (1/3 of 9kg bottle or 150mj/h) in one evening and your oven will heat fairly quickly (depending on size of oven) to around 250C. You can keep heating to 300C but wood is a better option from this point to get the high temps needed for great pizza. Our recommendation is to heat with gas to around 200DegC (hearth temp) and add wood from here. You can leave the gas on or turn off, that’s up to you. There is a maximum flow rate that an LPG bottle can convert liquid to gas. This burner has similar efficiencies to using solid fuel alone but is much more convenient. We also have further options with automatic modulating flame control which creates an even more efficient burner. Please enquire.
Installation: Customer to complete. Installation consists of a hole being drilled through the hearth to allow for the burner to be to be inserted from underneath the oven.
