Authentic Ovens are sold complete ready to use. A small time to cure then rock and roll! If you have purchased from us direct or from our retailers you will be provided the correct info on how to get underway. Selecting the correct way is easy, just ask our experienced staff.
Placement. The current design of our ovens has had clearance testing to NZ NZS 2918. Your installation of our product may require further design work regarding solid fuel appliances to suit the building code AS/NZS 2918:2018. Just ask.
Selecting the correct place for your Oven or Grill
Your sales person will ask you a few relevant questions in relation to the placement you have in mind. Things to note: Delivery type / Access and type of machinery required to install / Flue design required / gas supply / electrical supply / wood storage / staff.
Non flammable floor surfaces. Its important to know the floor area in front and under the oven or Grill must be non-flammable. In the rare case of a log falling out and catching the floor surface on fire.
A brief on delivery and pizza oven installation
If you choose to have your Oven or Grill delivered by our freight company, they will deliver to your local freight depot. Depending on the size and type there are different charges. You will be required to deal with the Hiab company directly so the correct information gets across on access. Our retailers can be used to assist the installation.
If there is no room to have a Hiab crane lift the oven into place there is the option of a lifting trolley or pallet jack trolley. We have one available free of charge for locals or you can hire them from your local hire company. YOUR ACCESS MUST BE AS WIDE AS THE OVEN FOR MANUAL TROLLEY INSTALLATION. Please complete a walk through with a tape measure before your oven arrives. Dont forget to check the height with trolley also.
Authentic Ovens are far too heavy to lift by hand, so please don’t try! We can talk you through the pizza oven installation and assist in any way possible. Most installations only take an hour or so. It’s surprisingly easy to install these ovens with the right information so please ask.
